Autumn leaf
When I left the house this morning I thought hard about whether to bring my camera. The sky was dull and grey, with the forecast for the day showing no improvement. I decided to pack my camera anyway. When I sat down on the tube I saw this leaf on the floor and - no doubt to the bemusement of those sitting nearby - began taking pictures. I wasn't sure if any would come out because the train was rattling round and I needed to use a slow shutter speed in the low light. As it happens a few worked out, although this is the last shot I took just after the train had stopped, and about a second or two before someone came and sat down with their feet on the leaf.
